Join us as marine biologist and Jean-Michel Cousteau’s dive partner, Holly Lohuis, shares her amazing footage from the PBS series Jean-Michel Cousteau Ocean Adventures. She will share stories from her travels around the world highlighting the complexities of the ocean environment and some of the impacts that are threatening the long-term vitality of our planet.
Holly has traveled the world with Cousteau and his team for more than 15 years. As a marine biologist and marine educator she has taught thousands of children and adults about protecting the marine environment. As a key member of the non-profit Ocean Futures Society’s expedition team she acts as a liaison between the team and scientists. You won’t want to miss this amazing speaker!
Located at Newport Beach Civic Center in the Community Room. Doors open at 6:30pm.
